Dobro, Banjo, and Other Things with Strings

Miles Zurawell is a performer, composer, instructor, and recording artist of acoustic roots music.

Self-proclaimed jack of all strings, master of none he is liable to put his hands on any piece of wood with a string on it. He could be described as a four-trick pony: performing on dobro, banjo, guitar and fiddle.

Bluegrass Today called him “a renaissance man, both as an instrumentalist and composer” and “a force of nature”. He respectfully disagrees with the former. He’s more Luddite than forward thinker and firmly believes in creating with 100% Organic Intelligence, free from the overly pitch-corrected and AI-generated soundwaves of the music industry future.

An experienced road musician, he tours and records with Canadian songwriter Zachary Lucky, his bluegrass band Happy Trails, Prospector, and the triple dobro supertrio National Resophonics (ft. Ivan Rosenberg and Kyle Kirkpatrick).
